Bourne Legacy Shooting Location in Manila

The fourth installment of the Bourne Series will be shoot in Manila and the Metro Manila Development Authority had revealed some of the locations of the highly-anticipated movie which is directed by Tony Gilroy.

The “Bourne” series which was previously starred by Matt Damon tells about the story of the fictional “CIA character assassin Jason Bourne.”

This installment of the “Bourne” series will star Jeremy Renner, the former assassin of the movie “SWAT.” He had worked side by also with Tom Cruise in the Hollywood top-grosser “Mission Impossible IV: Ghost Protocol.”

The Shooting Locations of the “Bourne Legacy” was revealed by MMDA Chairman Francis Tolentino. He stated that the locations were mostly in highly congested areas in Manila.

Some of the locations were Intramuros, Navotas Fish Port, San Andres Market, Marikina City Market, Nagtahan where shooting scenes will happen, Jones Bridge, Ramon Magsaysay Boulevard and Ayala Avenue where motorcycle race and helicopter scenes will be taken.

The movie will surely bring more tourists to the country. Hopefully the producers will add more locations showing the beauties of the Philippines.

Rumors had spread already that the shooting will be made this coming January 14 but it was not confirmed by the producers. According to the news almost 40% of the scenes will be shoot in Manila.
