Jessica Sanchez enters American Idol Season 11 Top 2, and faces Phillip Phillips in the Finale.

During the performance night on Wednesday, Jessica sang Mariah Carey’s “My All” as the judges’ choice, Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing” as her personal choice and Jackson 5′s “I’ll Be There” as coach Jimmy Iovine’s choice.

Jessica will face Philip in the two-night finale at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California on May 22 and 23.

With some 58 million votes cast, the one that was eliminated was Elise Testone. She sang Led Zeppelin’s “Whole Lotta Love” as her exit song. She was joined by Hollie Cavanagh and Skylar Laine in the bottom 3.

The much-anticipated Philippine premiere of the 11th season of long-running reality singing search, American Idol, will be on January 19, 2012 at 6pm live via satellite with prime time showing at 9:00 PM of same day.

No major changes were planned this season; it is said to follow same format as Season 10. Ryan Seacrest will be returning as host, while the three judges – Randy Jackson, Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez – will also be sitting as judges.

Catch the 2012 American Idol Season 11 on ETC (Sky Cable Ch. 14) on Thursdays and Fridays starting January 19, 2012 at 6PM (via satellite) and replays at 9:oo PM.
