Jessica Sanchez enters American Idol Season 11 Top 3

Jessica Sanchez stays in the competition as she enters the American Idol Season 11 Top 3 during the eliminations on Thursday (Friday morning, Philippine time).  Sanchez joins other two finalists Phillip Phillips and judges’ favorite Joshua Ledet.  Hollie Cavanagh who frequents at the bottom three for the past elimination rounds was voted off.

Sanchez performed Etta James’ “Steal Away” and the “Dreamgirls’ “And I’m Telling You I’m Not Going”.  She received another standing ovation from the judges after her Dreamgirls performance.
The final two will be announced next Thursday.  Many have predicted that it will be a showdown between Jessica and Joshua, but who can tell, with a competition that is based largely on user votes and considering Phillips’ huge fan base, we really cannot predict who will be the last two standing.
