Tulfo Brothers Suspended by TV5, show Suspended by MTRCB

Tulfo Brothers–Erwin, Ben and Raffy received a suspension notice from TV5 on Wednesday, their show “T3: Kapatid Sagot Kita” was also suspended by the Movie Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) starting May 10, 2012.

According to TV5 Corporate Public Relations Officer Peach Vibal-Guoguio, the Tulfo brothers, Erwin, Raffy, and Ben have been suspended as of May 9 after they uttered threats against celebrity couple Raymart Santiago and Claudine Barretto on national television last Monday.

The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) also issued 20-day suspension on “T3: Kapatid, Sagot Kita” May 10. The ground for suspension is the Presidential Decree 1986, “for airing scenes and utterances that are indecent and contrary to law, or with a dangerous tendency to encourage the commission of violence, or of a wrong or crime.”

Pacquiao vs Bradley Live Telecast

Manny Pacquiao is scheduled to fight Timothy Bradley on June 9 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas it will be June 10, 2012, Sunday, 8a.m., Philippine time. Manny Pacquiao will defend his WBO welterweight title against unbeaten American puncher Tim Bradley.

 

Pacquiao (54-3-2, 38 KO) and Bradley (28-0, 12 KO) will meet at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, live on HBO pay-per-view.

TV5; Kanta Pilipinas Audition Dates, Venues, Requirements and Qualifications

The Mega Star Sharon Cuneta is reported to host the upcoming reality singing competition of TV5 – Kanta Pilipinas. The show is currently on search for the next singing sensations.

The show will chronicle the different stories of many Filipinos aspiring to have their talent be heard. Following their journey, their struggles and their triumphs, we will get to witness their transformation from being regular folks with raw talent to becoming a star.

Below are the audition dates and venues:

* February 24 – SM City Cagayan de Oro
* March 2 – SM City Cebu
* March 10 – SM City Davao
* March 16 – SM City Baguio
* March 23 – SM City Iloilo
* March 30 – SM City North Edsa
* April 20 – SM City Batangas

The audition is open to all Filipinos from 14-30 years old. They can be a solo, duo, or group act (with a maximum of five members) of any genre. Auditionees can download the application form here (PDF File). They are also holding an online audition where you can opt to upload your audition video (maximum of 5-minute YouTube video of your performance).

TV5: Valiente Premieres on February 13

TV5 brings back the classic Pinoy masterpiece that got the whole nation hooked for five years two decades ago.

Valiente, the most successful dramaserye shown in Philippine history, will find its way back to the hearts of every Filipino as it makes a grand comeback on TV5 primetime starting this Monday, February 13.

Valiente is a story about love, hatred, vengeance and friendship that is sure to capture the hearts of Filipinos of today’s generation.

The most awaited Valiente comeback begins with a grand celebration that reunited the whole community of San Rafael. Two different worlds collide as Theo Braganza (Oyo Sotto) and Gardo Valiente (JC De Vera) prove that social class is not a hindrance for a strong friendship. The pilot week will also introduce the love triangle among Gardo and the Braganza sisters, Maila (Nadine Samonte) and Leona (Niña Jose).

The friendship between Don Armando (Mark Gil) and Damian Valiente (Michael de Mesa) is greatly contrasted by the forming contention between Donya Trining (Jaclyn Jose) and Luming (Gina Alajar).

Though the hacienda may seem to be sugar-coated with bountiful feat, the viewers will experience an emotional journey as the secrets and the destiny of each character unfold in this modern take on a timeless Pinoy classic.
