Popular television host Kris Aquino will join the campaign of her brother, Senator Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III, in this city considered a bailiwick of the late strongman Ferdinand Marcos.
This is the second time that the TV host will be seen campaigning with the senator after the Mindanao leg last week.
Some critics described Kris as the senator's "ultimate weapon" to salvage his dwindling ratings in the surveys and help ensure his victory in the upcoming presidential elections.
This Wednesday, Kris will join a motorcade of Senator Aquino, who is running for president under the banner of the Liberal Party (LP).
The senator is expected to arrive here at 2:00 p.m.
From the airport, Senator Aquino will immediately proceed to a series of radio interviews before the motorcade back to the airport.
At 4:30 p.m. the senator will fly to Vigan, Ilocos Sur for another radio visit and a political rally at 6:00 p.m. followed by a private dinner.
