The group Bacolod Masskara was declared the winner of Showtime’s “Inter-Town” competition. The group clad in their colorful “masskara” costumes awed the audience and judges with their marvelous and festive performance.
They all got 10 points from the ten hurados or judges beating other grand finalists — Amazing Paper Dolls (Olongapo City), Tiklad (San Pablo, Laguna), Infinite Reform (Taytay, Rizal), Lahing Anda (Anda, Pangasinan), Dumaguete’s Pride (Dumaguete, Negros Oriental), Next Level Octomix (Caloocan City), and La Castellana Bailes de Luces (La Castellana, Negros Occidental).
They group took home 2 million pesos while 1 million pesos was awarded to Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.
Bacolod Masskara is the 6th grand champion of “It’s Showtime,” following triumphs of XB Gensan (Season 1), Laoag City Gymnastics Group (Season 2), True Colors (Season 3), Astig Pinoy (Season 4), and CCP Bobcats (Campus Clash Edition).
