Fil-Am Jessica Sanchez stays on American Idol Top 7, after Deandre Brackensick was voted out of the competition during the elimination on Thursday night (Friday morning in the Philippines).

The contestants performed powerful 80′s hit by the late Whitney Houston’s “How Will I Know.” Sanchez received positive comments for her performance.

Jessica Sanchez and Joshua Ledet also performed a duet of the song “I Knew You Were Waiting (For Me)” by Aretha Franklin and George Michael during the performance night on Wednesday, April 4 (Thursday morning in the Philippines).
