Her full statement was sent to entertainment website Pep.PH (Philippine Entertainment Portal), which said:
“To end all speculations, I confirm that John Lloyd and I have agreed to end our relationship. The reason is purely between John Lloyd and myself.Now it is confirmed! Shaina Magdayao has already broke her silence with regards to her breakup with actor John Lloyd Cruz.
“I most humbly request everyone to allow us to move on with our respective lives with mutual respect and dignity.”
