Rhian Ramos and Mo Twister Kissing YouTube video

A second YouTube video believed (by some) to be uploaded by Mo Twister is starting to go viral.

This time around it stars Rhian Ramos and Mo Twister. It shows the 34-year-old DJ/TV host and the 21-year-old GMA-7 actress kissing, touching, and having a “private moment” in front of the laptop camera. It can be recalled that the first video starred Mo Twister where he alleged that they got rid of a baby in Singapore.

 Mo Twister aired his side on the leaked video of him and ex-girlfriend Rhian Ramos making out. The said video surfaced the net on Tuesday via the video sharing site YouTube. 

The said “kissing video” clearly shows Rhian Ramos, 21, and Mo Twister, 34, making out on the bed with their clothes on. Rhian and Mo are aware of the recording which lasted for more than 4 minutes.
This is the second scandalous video pertaining to the past relationship of Mo and Rhian that has gone viral. The first was the “RepairedMovie” video, which was leaked earlier this Month, featuring Mo Twister recording himself on a supposed video diary lamenting about the alleged abortion that Rhian is about to commit (or had committed).

When the said video surfaced the net, Mo Twister quickly denied hand in the upload saying that it was taken from his stolen laptop.

And regarding the new video titled by the uploader(s) as “Mo Twister and Rhian Ramos Scandal,” the DJ/host denied once again that he had a hand on its leakage.

But contrary to the first video (RepairedMovie), Mo said that this one did not come from him.

“This latest video was not one in my possession. It was not recorded on my laptop,” he wrote.

“I hope this all ends soon. I don’t even know how we are getting to this point. I know so many theories are out there on how these videos are being uploaded online. I hope I can be as clear as possible that this is not my doing. This latest video was not one in my possession. It was not recorded on my laptop. Actually, at this point, it doesn’t even matter what your opinions are or who you put to blame for this. These files are amongst some of our more private and intimate moments and right now, it looks like even though I ask/beg the person to stop uploading these videos, it will not make a difference. I hope this will all end soon.”

Winning, losing celebrity candidates in barangay, SK Election

While other votes are still being canvassed, there are already winners and losers among the movie and television stars who ran in barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) polls held on Monday.

Young actor Jolo Revilla, son of action star Ramon “Bong” Revilla, Jr., also a senator, and actress Lani Mercado, a congresswoman, won as barangay captain in Bacoor, Cavite.

“Responsibilidad ko ito at haharapin ko,” promised Jolo after his victory.

Jeremy Marquez, one of the sons of comedian and former Parañaque City mayor Joey Marquez, was re-elected barangay chairman of Barangay BF Homes in Parañaque City.

Meanwhile, Jeremy's half-sister, Wynwyn Marquez, one of the daughters of ex-couple Joey and Alma Moreno, was proclaimed SK chairwoman also in Parañaque City.

Asia's Sentimental Songstress and erstwhile Camarines Sur vice-governor Imelda Papin's younger brother, Bobby Papin, won as kagawad of Barangay North Fairview in Quezon City, according to Quezon City Commission on Elections' officials Yvonne Bayog and Marilyn Jose.

Dagul, dubbed as “Little Man With a Big Heart,” also won as kagawad in Rodriguez, Rizal after receiving more than 11,000 votes.

Other winners were former matinee idol Jigo Garcia (chairman, Dona Josefa, QC), diretor Lino Cayetano (chairman, Barangay Fort Bonifacio, Taguig), and basketball player Chris Tiu (kagawad, Urdaneta, Makati).

Unfortunately, one of Barangay North Fairview's board member aspirants, Phillip Supnet, popularly known as Kuhol, television icon Jun Urbano's Mr. Shooli's gag sidekick, lost in the elections.

Action superstar Dan Alvaro also didn't make it as kagawad of Barangay San Agustin in Novaliches.

“Better luck next time. Hindi pa rin ako susuko sa paglilingkod sa aking mga ka-barangay. Okay lang sa akin na matalo,” exclaimed Alvaro, who was also defeated in the Quezon City council race last May elections.

Despite his second political debacle, he plans to continue acting as well as serving the public because his wife is the secretary of the barangay hall.

Matutina, who ran for barangay chairman of Bagong Pag-Asa in QC, was also beaten as well as Brylle Mondejar (kagawad, Obrero, QC).

Celebrity winners, losers in 2010 Election

Some celebrities have succeeded in conquering the world of politics, but others were not as lucky.

Re-electionist Batangas Gov. Vilma Santos appears to be winning as she consistently leads over her political rivals. Same fate seems to await re-electionist Sen. Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr., who ranked No. 1 in the latest partial official results.

In the same partial official results, Jinggoy Estrada, Vicente “Tito” Sotto III and Manuel “Lito” Lapid entered the list of top 12 senators.

Former “That’s Entertainment” star Isko Moreno has been re-elected as vice mayor of Manila.

Also leading as of posting time were ER Ejercito (governor, Laguna), Dan Fernandez (congressman, Laguna), Lucy Torres (congresswoman, Ormoc City, Leyte), Lani Mercado (congresswoman, Cavite), Daniel Fernando (vice governor, Bulacan), Yul Servo (councilor, Manila), Alma Moreno (councilor, Parañaque), Roderick Paulate and Alfred Vargas (councilors, Quezon City);

Angelica Jones (provincial board member, Laguna), Christopher de Leon (provincial boad member, Batangas), and former beauty queen Daisy Reyes (councilor, Pateros).

Some stars suffer defeat

Edu Manzano, however, continues to lag in the vice presidential race.

While vice-mayor Herbert Bautista won by a landslide over Michael Defensor in QC’s mayoralty race, some actors failed to make it in the local elections.

Bohol gubernatorial candidate Cesar Montano, for one, has already conceded defeat.

Parañaque City Mayor Florencio "Jun" Bernabe was already proclaimed by the city board of canvassers before noon Tuesday, defeating rivals former congressman Ed Zialcita and actor-comedian Joey Marquez.

The city board of canvassers also proclaimed Gus Tambunting as winner in the vice-mayoralty race in Parañaque City. He won by a landslide over actor Anjo Yllana.

Joy Belmonte won as the vice mayor of Quezon City with 463,915 votes over actress Aiko Melendez, who got 113,1398 votes.

Kris to Pacquiao: Unlike you, Noynoy undefeated in polls

In an apparent jab at Filipino boxing champion Manny Pacquiao, actress-TV host Kris Aquino said her brother Sen. Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III has an undefeated record in politics, while the "Pinoy sports icon" still has to prove that people want him in public office.

The actress, who is actively campaigning for her brother, said in her Twitter account that she has seen the TV endorsement of a “Pinoy sports icon” indirectly claiming her brother has not proven his real worth in politics.

Kris was referring to Pacquiao, who is endorsing Aquino’s rival, Sen. Manny Villar of the Nacionalista Party.

“In politics, Noy has won 3 straight terms sa Congress and won almost 15 million votes sa senatorial [race] in 2007,” she Tweeted last Thursday.

“How sad na he didn't think na in politics, knock out nga s’ya,” she added.

Kris was referring to Pacquiao’s failed first attempt in politics, when he ran against Darlene Antonino-Custodio for a congressional seat in South Cotabato in May 2007.

Kris also said that unlike the “sports icon,” her brother has already proven that voters want him as a public servant by winning all the elections he has entered.

“In politics, si Noy ang may napatunayan because Noy has never lost an election! Ika nga, undefeated ang record n'ya,” said the actress.

Pacquiao, who is running against Roy Chiongbian, who, like Antonino-Custodio, comes from an influential political family, shrugged off Kris’ comment.

“Dapat hindi na siya maki-alam… dapat walang siraan,” he said.

The boxing superstar said that he is confident he will win this time around.

“Panatag ako na mananalo,” he said.

Lucy Torres replaces Goma in congressional race

Television host Lucy Torres is replacing her husband, Richard Gomez, following his disqualification in the congressional race in Leyte province.

“We have decided to substitute Lucy to replace me as candidate for congressman in Ormoc and 4th district of Leyte. We will not wait for en banc decision to come out,” said Gomez in a text message to ABS-CBN News.

“That way we will not have to go to the Supreme Court to fight another battle and spend more money, time and effort if we win this election,” he added.

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has disqualified Gomez after he reportedly failed to establish his residency in Ormoc City, Leyte.

The poll body granted the petition for disqualification filed by Buenaventura Juntilla against Gomez.

Juntilla, a former barangay chairman, pointed out that Gomez did not fulfill the legal requirement that a candidate must be a resident in the area where he intends to run for at least one year.

Gomez, however, disputed Juntilla’s claims, saying he and his family have been living in Ormoc since 2007.

Gomez filed an appeal before the poll body, but the Comelec has yet to act on it.

Richard Gomez Disqualified by Comelec

The Liberal Party (LP) may have been allowed to keep its celebrity endorsers but it lost one of its star candidates for a congressional seat in Leyte.

Actor Richard Gomez, who was sworn in as LP member in November last year, was disqualified by the Commission on Elections (Comelec) from running in the fourth district of the province for lack of residency.

Gomez became the latest LP member to suffer defeat in the hands of the Comelec. Earlier, the poll body nullified the 2007 election victories of three governors who are LP members—Grace Padaca of Isabela, Eddie Panlilio of Pampanga and Joselito Mendoza of Bulacan.

Neric Acosta, an LP senatorial candidate, said the series of defeats that the party was suffering in the hands of the Comelec could be part of a tactic to derail the LP’s national campaign.

It makes it difficult for LP, he said, “because one way or another, it’s as if you are disabled in a certain way.”

In a resolution granting a petition to disqualify Gomez, the Comelec’s First Division ruled that the actor failed to present “sufficient proof” of his residency in Ormoc City in Leyte, his wife Lucy Torres’ hometown, or his ties to the city.

“The absence of such ties indicates his lack of intention to stay permanently in the locality,” the ruling said.

“Moreover, having no substantial ties to Ormoc City, it can hardly be expected from him to be cognizant and sensitive to the needs of the locality,” the Comelec said.

“This defeats the spirit of representation. This is the very evil which the residency requirement sought to avoid,” the poll body added.

Greenhills resident

The division said Gomez’s residence “remains to be Colgate Street, East Greenhills, Mandaluyong.”

The disqualification case was filed by Buenaventura Juntilla, a former barangay (village) chair in Ormoc.

Gomez said he was an Ormoc resident because he took part in religious activities, stood as sponsor in weddings and delivered speeches in various gatherings there.

He also pointed to his driver’s license, which listed Ormoc as his residence, as further proof that he has complied with the law’s residency requirement.

The division, however, said Gomez showed no intention of abandoning his Greenhills residence.

Being a registered voter in Leyte was not proof that Gomez was a resident of the place, it said.

Election laws require candidates to be residents of the area they are running in for at least a year before the elections.

Manila ties

Gomez, the Comelec said, “still maintains his substantial ties to Manila.”

“The respondent, up to the present, has material, practical, real and substantial reasons to stay in Manila,” it said.

The poll body said Gomez and his wife, Lucy, a TV host, both work in Metro Manila.

“While it is true that ownership of property is not an indication of domicile, it nevertheless strongly indicates the intention of the respondent not to abandon the said place,” it said.

LPs out, Arroyo allies in

The Comelec’s Second Division earlier unseated Governors Padaca, Panlilio and Mendoza and declared politicians allied with the Arroyo administration as the duly elected officials.

In Padaca’s case, it is Benjamin Dy Jr. of the Dy political clan and close ally of the administration.

In Pampanga, it was Lilia Pineda, wife of suspected “jueteng” financier Rodolfo “Bong” Pineda and close friend of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.

In Bulacan, it was former Gov. Roberto Pagdanganan, another close ally of Ms Arroyo.

Gomez’s rivals in the congressional race are Eufrocino Codilla of the administration coalition Lakas-Kampi-CMD and Silverio Tagolino, an independent.

Robin Padilla supports Tamano

Actor Robin Padilla has expressed his support for the senatorial bid of fellow Muslim, lawyer Adel Tamano, the latter’s office said in a statement Friday.

The endorsement follows that of Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) Chairman Nur Misuari.

Tamano, the first Filipino Muslim scholar-graduate of Harvard Law School and president of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, is a senatorial candidate under the Nacionalista Party.

According to the statement, Padilla’s endorsement came in the form of a handwritten personal note to Tamano dated December 9, 2009. In that note, Padilla wished the young lawyer and former opposition spokesman well in his political journey.

"May Allah guide you and give you success," the note read.

Tamano, for his part, thanked Padilla for his show of support.

"I am extremely grateful to Robin for his trust and confidence," the senatorial candidate said.

"Rest assured that I will continue to protect not only the rights of our fellow Muslims but of all Filipinos. Hopefully, if I get the privilege to serve in the Senate, I will help foster peace and acceptance," Tamano added.

Recently, Misuari made a subtle endorsement of Tamano before hundreds of MNLF commanders and leaders when he invited the latter to be the guest of honor during the 5th Bangsamoro National Assembly. Tamano was the only national politician allowed to attend the event.

Sa Batangas, kasama ni Vilma Santos ang dating ka-love team na si Christopher “Boyet" De leon na naghain ng kanilang kandidatura. Muling tatakbong gobernador si Vilma, habang board member sa 2nd district ng lalawigan ang puntirya ni Boyet.

“Maglalatag kami ng programa ng mga kasamahan ko continuation and improvement of our projects and program, at ‘pag nagustuhan ‘yan ng tao siguro pagkakatiwalaan kami ng tao muli," paliwanag Ate Vi.

Muli ring tatakbong senador sina Sens Ramon “Bong" Revilla Jr. at Lito Lapid. Posisyon din sa Senado ang target nina Tito Sotto, at Imelda Papin.

Showbiz personalities also descended on Intramuros, Manila to file their CoCs.

Among the early birds were Lani Mercado for Congress, Alfred Vargas and Ogie Diaz for Quezon City councilors, Alma Moreno for Parañaque councilor, and Ara Mina for Quezon City 3rd district councilor.

They were accompanied by their respective families, friends and supporters.

Aiko Melendez is also running for QC vice-mayor under former president Joseph Estrada’s political party.

In Tacloban, actor Richard Gomez filed his CoC for representative of Ormoc. He is running under Liberal Party of presidential aspirant Sen. Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III.

Former actress Jobelle Salvador also caught many by surprise when she formalized her bid to run for vice-mayor of Makati.

Re-electionist Senators Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. and Jinggoy Estrada, actor Christopher de Leon (for Batangas congressman), and singer Imelda Papin (for senator) will file their CoCs on Tuesday.

Dolphy, Willie endorse Villar

The election fever has again hit the entertainment industry.

Political affiliations and ambitions of celebrities became clear a day before the deadline for the filing of certificate of candidacy (CoC) expires. Next year’s election is again expected to be star-studded as many stars are seen to actively participate in the process.

Some celebrities have already been to the Commission on Elections to file their CoCs, ending months of speculations about their political plans. Others, meanwhile, have endorsed their respective bets in the 2010 elections.

King of Comedy Dolphy and popular noontime host Willie Revillame, two of the biggest names in show business, for instance, joined the fray by formally endorsing the presidential bid of Sen. Manuel “Manny” Villar of the Nacionalista Party (NP).

On Sunday evening, Dolphy showed up at NP’s proclamation rally in Tondo, Manila. He was introduced on stage by Revillame, a known Villar supporter.

In his speech, Dolphy apparently tried to win the crowd by declaring that he, like Villar, grew up in Tondo.

"Noong sinabi sa akin na tiga-Tondo ang tatakbo, kailangan tulungan natin. Ayaw niyo ba na tiga-Tondo ang magiging presidente?” said Dolphy, addressing thousands of people who trooped to Macario Sakay Plaza.

Dolphy, along with his back-up singer and guitarist known as "Brad Pitt from Cainta," also performed songs during the proclamation rally. Aside from Dolphy and Revillame, "Wowowee" host Valerie Concepcion also attended the event.
