How to Report Text Scam

Telecommunications companies here in the Philippines are asking the public to be more vigilant against text scams.

They are reminding everyone not to trust text messages or SMS instructing you to forward messages or asking you for load or any form of payment in exchange for prizes or gifts. Smart, Sun, Globe, Talk N’ Text usually do not use standard 11 or 12 digit numbers to send promo-related text messages.

To report text scams, please get in touch with the National Telecommunications Commission’s One Stop Public Assistance Center (NTC OSPAC) via email at ospac@ntc.gov.ph or landline number (02) 921 3251 or (02) 926 7722.
