Latest Election Result as of 10:00 am May 11, 2010

The race for vice president is tight as Liberal Party vice presidential candidate Senator Manuel “Mar” Roxas II inches closer to top-ranking Makati Mayor Jejomar Binay in the latest tally of church-group Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV).

In the latest partial, unofficial tally released 9 a.m., Roxas inched closer to Binay as the Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino vice presidential bet dropped the lead to less than a million.

The latest tally showed Binay garnering a total of 11,901,607 votes while Roxas garnered 11,087,369 votes.

Nacionalista Party’s Senator Loren Legarda, meanwhile, is tailing at third place with just over three million votes.

The latest tally, which was based on transmitted results from a total of 59,635 clustered precincts nationwide, also showed Liberal Party standard bearer Senator Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III enjoying a wide lead at first place in the presidential race with over 12 million votes.

Former president Joseph Estrada, meanwhile, was trailing at number two with 7,660,547 votes. NP’s Senator Manny Villar was a far third at 4,275,803 and Lakas-Kampi-CMD’s Gilbert Teodoro was 3,205,709.

In the senatorial race, Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. is still at first place with 15,644,435 votes.

Jose “Jinggoy” Estrada (15,411,264), Miriam Defensor-Santiago (14,165,468), Frank Drilon (12,964,007), Juan Ponce Enrile (12,810,644), Pia Cayetano (11,226,840), Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos (10,891,329), Ralph Recto (10,107,910), Vicente Sotto III (9,736,409), Sergio Osmena III (9,450,346), Lito Lapid (8,820,585), Teofisto Guigona III (8,414,340), Risa Hontiveros (7,526,986), Ruffy Biazon (7,084,039), and Jose de Venecia III (6,831,224).

Partial, unofficial results for the rest of the rest of the presidential candidates are:

Eduardo Villanueva (907,523), Vetellano Acosta (137,566), Nicanor Perlas (41,660), Jamby Madrigal (36,712), JC delos Reyes (34,380).

Partial, unofficial results for the other vice presidential candidates are:

Bayani Fernando (839,736), Edu Manzano (582,902), Perfecto Yasay (292,550), Jose Sonza (50,156), and Dominador Chipeco Jr. (39,689).
