After last weeks’ so-so performance, at least according to the judges, Filipino-Mexican-American Jessica Sanchez made a strong comeback in today’s episode of American Idol Season 11. She received her third standing ovation after she performed Billy Joel’s “Everybody Has A Dream”.She received all but praises from the judges. Steven Tyler remarked that she has gone way past his judging. He added that when “When God was giving out vocal chords, you were so at the front of the line. I’ve got nothing to say except for thank you for letting me hear you sing, baby.”
Jennifer Lopez commented that it was a defining song, saying it’s like the song was originally written for her. Judge Randy Jackson lauded Sanchez’s consistency every time she performs on stage, adding that her performance was perfect.
Jessica Sanchez is considered as one of the front-runners of the show.
