AJ “Bazooka” Banal (27-1-1 20 KOs) scored a first round TKO over Raul Hidalgo (16-6 12 KOs) to retain his WBO Asia-Pacific Bantamweight title.
Rocky “The Road Warrior” Fuentes (33-6-2 20KOs) beat Javier Franco (19-7-1 10KOs) via 6th round TKO. Franco was wearing 10 oz. gloves because he was overweight during the weigh-in. Fuentes is the current OPBF flyweight champion.
Undefeated prospect Arthur “El Matador” Villanueva (18-0-0 12Kos) survived veteran Rey Migreno (15-19-3 13KOs) and won their 8 round bout via unanimous decision. The scores read 76-73,76-74 and 77-72. It was Villanueva’s first bout after 9 months.
Young knockout artist “Prince” Albert Pagara (11-0-0 9KOs) knocked out Thai visitor Phupha Por Nobnom (10-8-1 9KOs) for his second victory in 2012. The KO victory is his third straight abbreviated win.
Roma Rate (7-0-1 6KOs) kept his undefeated record by knocking down Bukidnon‘s Jade Yagahon (7-4-2 3KOs) twice in the 4th round en route to a TKO victory. Rate is on a 3-fight winning streak while Yagahon is going the other way with a 3-bout losing streak.
Arjan Canillas (5-0-1 4KOs) won his 5th straight bout as he TKOed Ranie “Kid” Pamatian (6-12-3 1KO) in the opening round of their 6-rounder.
Crispin Parba (2-5-0 1KO) won via decision over Belmar Quinones (2-6-0 1KO) in a 4 round offering.
Jojo “The Flash” Intor (19-10-7 KOs) got a unanimous decision win over Alejandro “Ali” Marapao (2-9-0 1KO) in another 4 round clash.
