Suspended Classes on March 15 Transport Strike

Due to the planned March 15 Transport Strike, some schools in Metro Manila announced the suspension of classes to avoid their students for some incidents that night happen during the strike.

The Department of Education has earlier announced that the suspension of classes will be upon the decision of the local government units (LGUs).

Mayor Herbert Bautista suspends pre-school, elementary & high school classes in Quezon City, both public & private. LGU has already suspended classes in elementary and high school in PASAY, SAN JUAN and PARANAQUE.

Some universities have also announced class suspension like the Far Eastern University (FEU) of ALL LEVELS.

No work suspension on government offices have been announced. The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) will deploy 26 trucks and 6 buses to be used by commuters. The LRT lines 1 & 2 are all set and ready for the transport strike tomorrow according to LRT/MRT Spokesperson Atty. Hernando Cabrera.
