Valenzuela Councilor Shalani Soledad and Pasig Congressman Roman Romulo exchanged their vows in a simple and very solemn wedding ceremony held at St. Benedict Church іn Ayala Westgrove, Silang, Cavite late Sunday afternoon, January 22, 2012.

The wedding was attended by their friends and well-known personalities in the world of entertainment, news and politics. Among those spotted in the star-studded wedding event were Richard Gomez and wife Lucy Torres-Gomez, Mariel Rodriguez, TV5 bosses Bobby Barreiro and Jude Sta. Ana, Karen Davila, Valenzuela Mayor Sherwin Gatchalian and Ronald Singson.

Among the 22 “Ninongs” and “Ninangs” are Senator Panfilo "Ping" Lacson, Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Secretary Albert del Rosario, former House Representative Cynthia Villar, TV5 Chairman Manny V. Pangilinan, businessmen Ramon Ang and Ben Chan.

Jun Cabangon was the Best man, while Joy Marie Castellvi, Soledad's childhood friend was the Matron of Honor.

Reception follows at the Nuvali Evoliving Center in Laguna.
