The INC formally endorsed this Wednesday the presidential bid of Liberal Party standard-bearer Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III and runningmate, Senator Mar Roxas II.
Senator Manuel “Mar” Roxas II has expressed elation over the Iglesia Ni Cristo’s (INC) endorsement of his vice presidential bid, saying this will cement his victory in the upcoming elections.
Roxas, in various interviews just shortly after the INC endorsement this Wednesday morning, admitted having known about the group’s decision to support him and presidential candidate, Senator Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III of the Liberal Party a few days before the formal announcement.
When asked if he had personally thanked the INC leadership for the endorsement, Roxas admitted that he had met with Manalo when he was first told of the group’s decision.
